Venkateswara Swamy Temple
Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Mylavaram, Krishna district, is an ancient and revered shrine dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, also known as Balaji. The temple is believed to have been constructed around the 12th century, with inscriptions dating the Mukha Mandapam (front hall) to the year 1313 AD by a significant devotee, Ch. Janayya, during the tenure of the Mylavaram Zamindars. It is renowned for a unique architectural wonder—during sunrise, the first rays of the sun touch the feet of the temple deity, which is considered auspicious by devotees.
